Tide Rip Grizzly Tours Ltd. is a small independent company located in Telegraph Cove on Northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Welcome to Cluxewe, a natural wonder, in the land of the Kwakiutl people. Cluxewe has two different, but related, meanings: place of the changing river mouth and place of refuge. In early summer you can enjoy both sunsets and sunrises from your deck. Each of the twelve cozy cottages, including the 3-unit “tri-plex,” comes with cooking and dining utensils, stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, and full bathroom. Cottages also feature TV/VCR’s with satellite television. These cottages are wonderful retreats for artists, writers, and nature lovers as well as fishermen! 152 campsites, many on the ocean and Cluxewe River estuary.

Sea otter Enhydra Lutris and whale watching tours in Esperanza Inlet on the west coast of north Vancouver Island. Boat tours last about 5 hours with shore break. The price of $600 is per boat charter; there is a 12 person limit. Accommodation & meal packages available. Sea otters can be viewed year round, Humpback whales usually show up late spring to fall. Black bears can be spotted after April.
